The program placed CSMC Graduate Students (Hermiston Fellows) in the Advanced Chemistry classroom in Hermiston High. Hermiston Fellows spent two 3 week stints in the classroom at Hermiston High. During their time in Hermiston, the fellows worked to develop a high school advanced chemistry curriculum that would be environmentally sustainable and have a measurable impact by increasing the amount of new science, technology, engineering and mathematics researchers from underrepresented groups.
